OK, so I love this sound bar. I have a year old LG 80” with a ARC HDMI input. I’ve had my issues, mostly attributed to having ARC and not eARC. (Research please). The best metaphor for ARC (Audio Return Channel) is; think of one lane a highway and the other lane is a bicycle path. eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel) is like two highways, sending data at the same speed. So, the biggest problem I’ve had with this is the time it takes for the ARC to recognize the device and begin sending sound. It supports Dolby Atmos, Dolby Digital 5.1, all sounds incredible, on it’s own. If you’re going to make this investment I would consider the Bose surround 700, & Bose bass module 700. (After you pay off the bar!) Great product, I strictly ONLY purchase Bose products for my audio needs. Finally, the build quality (as with all Bose products) is exceptional. Be careful setting up, quite heavy with a sturdy metal grill.I’ve had three different sound bars and I liked this one the least. Sound was only acceptable not great. I also didn’t like having to use app on phone to adjust. I had a Nakamichi 7.1 system that probably was the best sounding least expensive of the three but returned because I couldn’t handle the wires for surround speakers. I settled on the JBL 9.1 system which so far is excellent. Most expensive of the three but overall far superior to the Bose and slightly better sound than the Nakamichi. Wish there were more adjustments possible with remote but sound is excellent. ThanksI have had many named brand sound bars/systems over the years. They were ok but they all sounded tinny, the bass was adequate and hearing dialog was difficult. I was skeptical that this Bose 900 sound bar would be any different. I am glad I decided on purchasing the Bose 900 sound bar. Bose has made a name for themselves and rightfully so! The sound from this sound bar is amazing. Movies, Music, and TV experience is at a different level now. The highs, the lows and dialog is very impressive. I hearing sounds that were only produced in the theaters. This sound bar has a dialog setting but I am not even using this feature and dialog is great. To rap it up the Bose 900 sound bar is the best sound bar out there. I suggest anyone that is looking for a new sound bar to give the Bose 900 a try.Suena espectacular, tengo Bosé lifestyle v35 que suena genial, pero al conectar esta barra con el bajo y 2 parlantes mas, supero el sonido del Bosé lifestyle v35 y lo mejor es que no hay cables que conectar, al subir el volumen parece q la casa se va a caer y lo mejor es que el sonido es impecable 0 distorsión lo mejor de lo mejor 100% garantizado el audio, estoy feliz de mi nuevo juguete de audio ???Sound is excellent and definitely an upgrade from built-in TV speaker. Really like low profile so it doesn't obstruct my LG screen. However, top of the bar is glossy and I still can't figure out whether I won't care soon it or it's annoying. Probably need some time to get used to but I definitely would prefer matt finish.Update: I couldn't stand the bar mirroring TV and returned it.Easy to set up. Although no instructions came with this product. You just download an app which connects all your equipment together.Great sound. Clear I have this paired up with the 700 subwoofer and 700 surround speakers.Amazing for movies.Everything I was expecting from Bose, awesome sound, easy set up. I had bought a Samsung wireless surround sound system after a couple of months of it not working caused me to spend more money for the Bose sound bar. Should have bought this unit first. Highly recommend for purchase.Tons of power behind this little bar. We have a few Bose speakers in our house so we know this brand pretty well. This sound bar is legit. The base is impressive. Thought we might need a subwoofer and the side speakers for our huge TV but this works great. Unless you have a GIANT room, just this bar will do the trick. Tu e conflictos para activar el asistente, Activé Google assistant pero no lo detectaba la propia aplicación de Bose. Hasta después de 5 días estaba ya desesperado, desinstalé ambas aplicaciones Bose y Google assistant y solo así reinstalando las aplicaciones funcionó, después de eso el asistente como usualmente funciona . El control remoto es pequeño, que en realidad como autodetecta por fibra ( lo tienes que activar en la app) o por HDMI el audio cambia automáticamente la fuente, por lo que la necesidad del control remoto es casi nula. El acceso por Bluetooth es el mismo que su predecesora. Si tienes la Bose soundbar 700 y quieres cambiar o actualizar a esta nueva versión no vale la pena el costo.I was not happy with my smart TV audio.Was contemplating with the idea of a Sound Bar.Checked couple of options and finally went for a demovdonetime bank .. Bose900 was the best ..eventhough it was pricey.. but they were not having stock..Finally by an impulse brought it through Amazon..Very fast deliveryInstallation was super cool.. downloaded the App in mobile.. and it was effortlessly done with in couple of minutes.My my.. audio was amazing.. the vocal dialogues in the tv is amazingly reproduced..Tried Amazon Music through Bluetooth..Superb.. I am not a loud listener of music..So at lower volume, this beautiful speaker.. gives out all the minute notes of different instruments and vocals with a perfect synchronisation..I love it.. except for the price ..We indians are paying a whopping $500 more than the US audiophiles counterparts..I purchased this product mainly for listening to movies and TV shows. The content in Dolby Atmos really sounded great. The bass is good but not great without a subwoofer.We purchased the sound bar with the Bose 700 bass module and we are very satisfied. As with the bass module, the product was securely packaged and was exactly as described. It is a handsome sound bar and it fits perfectly under a 55" HDTV. The sound bar and the bass module work nicely together and bring the movie theatre experience into the home. Our family room is rather small and it is perfect for the space. Larger rooms may require something different but, for our needs, the Bose combo is perfect. I have read the comments from audiophiles and I understand their comments. However, if you are just looking for great sound in a smaller room, the Bose system works very well. It is a bit pricey but the sound and the design were just right for us and allowed us to get rid of all of those speakers and wires.
