I bought the Rockville speakers for our sailing yacht. The reviews were excellent and they provide an excellent value. I recieved my order ahead of schedule. One of the speaker grilles arrived damaged, but I plugged them in to investigate whether the sound quality was as good as reviews stated. I have a pair of Bose speakers in the main salon and a pair of 6-1/2" West Marine Pro 200 flush mount speakers in the master cabin. The Bose speakers provided a much fuller sound quality and produce a much richer bass response comparitavely. The West Marine speakers are mounted into a space with much more volume than the Rockville boxes, so I expected a significant difference. The Rockville speakers remained clear and concise far beyond the capability of the West Marine speakers. I am exceptionally pleased with the Rockville sound quality and value. Customer service was excellent and hassle-free. My replacement speakers are on the way and I am much looking forward to installing them topside on our sailboat. I anticipate a great experience!
