These 5.25" speakers sound better than the original Jenson speakers I had before. Way better considering I only paid about 12.99 for them. They work well outside of my RV.I didn't want to cut bigger holes in my boat seats for six and a half inch speakers so I had to stick with 5 and 1/4. I had planned to spend a little more money and was almost afraid to buy these because they were so cheap. But the specifications and the reviews were pretty much the same as for other speakers so I thought I would try them out. I am very pleasantly surprised. They sound very nice on my pontoon boat. They get as loud as I want to listen to them and I don't notice any distortion or static. I am sure there are better speakers out there for more money but these fit my needs and sound pretty great to me. Can't beat them for the price either.They work great in my boatThese were great replacement speakers for my camper I was remodeling. Exact fit for 5.25 speaker hole. Way better sound over factory camper speakers.They don't sound like Klipsch or Kicker but they also don't don't cost as much either. For a marine speaker with a waterproof cone, they sound pretty good. Remember, some of the sound is determined by the enclosure you put it in. Mine are mounted in the center console and they sound ok. I do absolutely hate the "speed clips" that (most) speakers come with, and I would advise investing in some SS oval head screws and locking nuts.Easy install, plenty of wire. Nice way to add sound to the console.Had to order these to replace the cheap junk speakers my RV came with. This model was about the only size on Amazon that I could get without cutting larger holes since RV's tend to install this small speaker. They seem to sound OK and I appreciate the better cone material for waterproof capability. Time will tell I suppose.Great sound from these budget speakers. Don't expect to crank the hell out of these speakers, but if you want some background music while you lounge on the boat, they do the trick.They worked great for my application.I used them to replace the speakers in the sound bar of my Jeep. They fit without any cutting. The grills are part of the speaker, which I was unaware, but the stock Jeep grills fit over top.They sound better than the stock ones.I’m happy.Got these for a damaged speaker when I bought a travel trailer. Easy to install and work well.
