I used this speaker to build a powered subwoofer using a 4000 watt 4 ohm crown amplifier. The speaker can handle 3500 watts RMS and it surely kicks butt. To give you an idea of the power using it outdoors in the open air you can feel it 30 feet away. You feel it hit your body and the bass is clean and crystal clear. I have been playing the drums for 50 years and by far the best sub I have ever had. Clean and powerful RMS not peak power but constant thumping at 3500 watts full power all day long. It's a killer and you will not regret using this Sub, it is incredible. It's not cheap but you get what you paid for.
