Nicely packaged, along with the speaker is the USB-C charging cable, some promotional information and the getting started literature.The unit is fully CE and UKCA compliant, the makers are keen to point out the eco-credientials of this item, being made in part from recovered ocean bound plastics, good, that matters to me a lot.I had no problem at all pairing the device with my android phone and my Win 10 PC running a bluetooth 5.3 adapter (fickle thing that it is). The charging port and auxiliary port (nice touch that) are protected by a sealing rubber cover on the top of the unit. The item is said to be IPX7 waterproof which means immersion at normal pressure and temperature, all the sort of things you would expect from dropping it in the sea or shower say.Sound quality was good, I had this thing banging out some music in the shower and it wasn't distorting even at high volume, in fact it outperformed a "dry land" speaker that I had previously considered to be of great sound quality.Another nice touch is the little rubber handle that is "unpeeled" by pulling the little tag on the top, a small thing I know but a nice touch and being a band like that means no cloth handle to get mushy wet in water.A well thought out product, good quality build, good sound quality, enough eco-credentials to garner some interest.I would recommend for when you want to enjoy some music without worrying that the speaker might get wet.
