After having rotted out speaker edging on my McIntosh speakers for the past 10 years and no support or warranty backup from the former McIntosh manufacturer who was recently purchased by another company, I was ready to give up.Had looked into sending the speaker drivers out for rebuild/repair, but it was going to be a big hassle with delays, costs and logistics. Found the Simply Speakers replacement edging kit for McIntosh speakers out of a random 'hit' when searching Amazon. Ordered them, received them quickly and was able to install them into my McIntosh speaker drivers without any difficulties. Only took about an hour per speaker driver to accomplish. Now the speakers sound like new and I can once again enjoy them. Highly recommend these for those with a moderate skill with small tools, glue and ability to follow easy instructions.
