I picked up a pair of Acoustic Research AR-18s in a thrift store for $5! The foam surrounds were shot but they looked good, otherwise. I've never refoamed a speaker before, but I knew the parts were accessible and affordable. Simply Speakers' refoam kit had exactly what I needed, matched to these speakers. The included instructions were helpful. But even more helpful are the multitude of great installation videos on the Simply Speakers website and YouTube channel.The surrounds fit perfectly and installation was quick and easy for this first timer.
