I bought three of these (six speakers total) for a total sound solution for my back yard. I already had the Sonos system in my house on my four TV's, so I had plenty amplifier and mixer capacity. The mid range and highs are spectacular! These are not designed for a deep base sound (but for outdoor activity, its a much richer sound than anything I've ever heard. Had to call both neighbors to make sure we didn't set the sound level too high, and there's plenty of room to increase the sound volume if necessary. My home backs up to a private airport (no jets), and the sound of the aircraft engines do not drown out the speakers. The only thing I had to do was paint the speakers, bracket and the screens (wanted them black to match outside), but with the correct paint that chore was easy. Just be sure to give the paint plenty of time set (I gave mine a week just to be safe), but you need at least 2-3 days. They're not cheap by any means, but you definitely get the sound value you pay for. Summers are going to fun this year.
