The midrange cones on my old Sound Dyamics crumbled apart. Cone replacement is not hard, but a littlescary at 1st, but the speakers where no good so why not try. Cleaning the old gue off eas the hardest, but the cones on these Sound dynamics speakers are very durable and took all my scubbing and rubbing to get clean. Make sure to have cone centered on the speaker before glue sets. I used a glass to hold it in place, but must have knocked it, and it set all crooked. Had to rip it off and order another kit, but 2nd time it went great. I would definitely do this again if I ran across another nice set of speakers that needed this type of repair. Pictures above are before, then cleaned, and then installed. Sure, glue job could be cleaner, if I did more of them. Very happy with the results . Time to get the family out the house and enjoy these speakers again.
